Help with under body lighting

Yes. Subscribing to this thread. I want to add some extra LED strips under my truck that turn on when the courtesy lights in my side view mirrors turn on. I’m thinking I could tap in to the reverse lights. I think they come on when the mirror lights are on, and then the LEDs will turn on when in reverse too which will be nice.

I’ve done this already, there’s a rubber grommet right under the driver side door, so put the led strips under your doors then run the wires though there inside of your cab, then just splice into your dome light circuit; beyond easy mod that looks amazing. I also did the footwell lighting when I did this one.

?? Drooling. That looks so awesome. Happy to hear someone’s done it so I won’t be in the dark. I was gonna use strips but looks like you didn’t? What lights did you use exactly? Gonna buy some right now. ??

I can't remember the brand but I bought them at AutoZone for like $25. They're meant for the truck bed but I already had some in there and figured these would work great, and they did. I wired them in with the courtesy lights so they come on with unlock or opening a door.

I used stips outside then single little pod lights inside. Just 4(2 in front end 2 in rear)!
