Anyone try these yet?  TireRack shows high ratings but I’ve never owned a Continental tire.

I'm interested in this, too.  Like you said, Tire Rack has good ratings on these and Consumer Reports ranked this on/off road tire and their truck highway tire as best in class.  I'm hesitant to buy a set because our Ford Taurus fleet cars always had Continental tires, and they would always get out-of-round wobbly from belt separations or sidewall bubbles sooner or later, and Conti would not stand behind them.

Two important negatives here:  your experience with Conti not backing their distributer to make good for customers and Consumer Reports does back them.

I see they have a trial period, but I’d be left swapping them for a Conti I have less than zero interest in.  So if I buy, I drive.   And there are no dealers close to me, so everyone says “Sure we can special order them for you, but you’d be better off buying XYZ that I keep in your size here.”  No kidding.   I don’t want to hand dig you a swimming pool, but I guess for the right price, I would.

Yep.  Same situation in my area.  There are many Goodyear dealers, a BfG/Michelin dealer, a couple of Bridgestone/Firestone dealers, and a few dealers that carry multiple lines.  Nobody advertises Continentals.  I can get Contis installed at a couple of dealers, but that is not their main line of tires, and as such, I doubt they'd take a stand with me if the tires had problems.

We have Continentals on our 2016 Suburban from the factory with 31k miles on them with no issue.  Granted they are not the AT's but they run smooth and handle well.  Same with the Conti Pure Contacts on my 2014 Cruze with 10k on them.  The guys on the Cruze forum loves the Conti's.

I got the Conti Terrain Contacts installed today.  By my local Firestone store.   In stock size they’re apparently a little scarce in my region.

At ~50 miles I don’t have a qualified review.  But,  they look great.  They are quiet but but not magically quiet.   They ARE smooth but that might be in comparison to what I just took off.   More later if anyone’s interested.   $924.20 OTD.  Then a mfg $70 rebate.

Premium territory.

I installed a set of Firestone Destination AT on my first (2016) Sierra, had the whole setup swapped to my second 2016, then to my 2018.  I had a little over 40k on them.  I’ve had that tire on 4 different vehicles I’ve owned and it really is a great tire.  I wanted something different.

i really like the Conti’s now that I found a pressure that works for me (36psi front, 35 rear). Smooth and quiet and really nice looking.   We’ve had some weird 98*F + weather this week that’s had me idling for a few periods and don’t have a good read on mpg impact.   I think it’ll be nominal when I average it all out over time.

So far, I believe I’ve made a great decision with the Terrain Contacts.

I ordered a set from Discount Tire last year for our Subaru Forester, and they've been great (the tires and Discount Tire).

I have 3 or 5 pics of my dirty/rained on truck in the parking lot at work.  Now need to figure out how to post.  I access GM-trucks from my iPad, the pics are on my iPhone.  I’ll get there.
