Need thoughts on lighting issue

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 allterrain.

I installed a new opt7 triple Red Line LED tailgate bar which has brake running and sequential turn signals built into it along with reverse. Also if you have a rear view camera parking sensors and towing assist you have to buy an adapter box which is just plug and play. The LED bar simply plugs into your 4 flat trailer connector two before installing everything I hooked it up and everything worked perfect installed everything tested again everything working perfect then all of a sudden both my rear turn signals flash rapidly when I use either one. So I disconnected the LED bar in my turn signals continue to flash rapidly now when before it would not been work normal. Looking for thoughts or suggestions as to what may have happened thanks everyone in advance

I got tired of trying every aftermarket lights out there and spend hundreds and I was never satisfied., that’s the main reason did a 15-16 front end conversion and the output of the oem led headlights give its freakin awesome., might not be an option for you to do a conversion but I’m glad I did.

I should add in my front turn signals are flashing rapidly as well and at the dash also

Sounds similar to needing a load resistor after adding led’s. But you’re saying that the oem setup is not working with everything else uninstalled now?

You may have a bulb out if that’s the case. Does the dic have any messages pop up?

The odd thing is all the bulbs are good and what happens I get a turn signal error message and it happens to all of them front and rear

If one bulb was burned that why would it happened to both sides though plus bulbs are still working just flashing rapidly nothing is burnt out

I’m not sure then. I had a turn signal bulb out that caused the hyper flash, but I could see the back flashing still even though it said a bulb was out. I didn’t realize there was a top and bottom bulb for that lol. Did you have to splice in to anything, or just plug it into the tailgate plug?

I will double check all the bulbs everything was Plug and Play The only thing that had to be spliced was one wire for reverse which should not affect the turn signals

Let me throw this out there as i never really paid attention but should both the upper and lower portions of the tail light flash when turn signals on or just the lower portion?

See my post in the other thread. Remove the adapter box and try again. IIRC that adapter was only for the F150. Of course they did not make it too clear because they want you to give them more of your money. Reading reviews the only time I saw that someone had problems was with the F150s and they needed the adapter. No one else said they needed it.

The only problem now is when I disconnect everything I still get the hyper Flash but I wonder if the Box screwed something up
