Remote fob windows down

I know on 2015 sierras you can roll the windows down with the truck off using the key fob, anybody know how to do it for a 2014?

I’m sure it’s the same but I want to know what the purpose of this is. I don’t know if a single situation where this would be useful, at least around where I live.

I use this all the time in the summer. It's perfect for letting the heat from sitting in the sun all day, out of the truck. I drive with my windows down most of the time anyway, so this feature is awesome for me.

You should be able to go into the settings menu on the radio and activate the feature. It's under Vehicle, and power remote settings I think.

Already tried, i can only fold my mirrors in

Possible the 14's didn't have that feature, but I can't see why not. Does the fob, fold the mirrors back out too? How long are you holding the unlock button?

2014's didn't have the window down feature.  This feature was added sometime in 2015. Better trade her in for a newer one lol

Untrue, my 14 had it, but didn’t care for it then, the 15 was the same, didn’t get squat of an upgrade but the 16 did especially the 17 and 18.

I got a 14 denali, loaded except sunroof so idk i was hoping there was a way to add it to mine, it’d be useful during the summer

There are horror stories about folks walking to their vehicle in a driving rain and finding all their windows open. Had the fob in their pocket and leaned against something just right for too long. Probably rare but it does happen.

Must have been a few odd ball 2014's that had it then.  My old 14 didn't have it, nor did my brothers, dad's and several friends.  My boss has an 2014 high country and his won't do it.

My neighbor still has his 14 LTZ I dentical to mine and his does it too but I’ve never cared to use it, auto start takes excellent care of me prior to getting in. My 18 has every option and still I have zero interest in it. I rather have a button for auto 6 plus lift lol

I wouldn’t doubt it, IMO found it kinda dumb but others like leaving their windows down

Everything after 14’s really didn’t get much more upgrades aside of cosmetics and tech features like the useless wireless phone charger. But did get better phone and Apple play connectivity. You can find on YouTube all day long about the window key fob. One of the Best thing about the 14-15 is that their UCA’s weren’t stamped steel like 16-18.
