My neighbor still has his 14 LTZ I dentical to mine and his does it too but I’ve never cared to use it, auto start takes excellent care of me prior to getting in. My 18 has every option and still I have zero interest in it. I rather have a button for auto 6 plus lift lol

Like I said must be a few odd balls out there.  My neighbor just checked his 14 Denali, it doesn't have it either.  There are several other threads about this on the forum and most 2104 owners say their's dont have this feature.  I happen to like the feature, because where I park for work is across the street and I drop the windows on my way to the truck to get all the hot air out faster.

Must have been a few odd ball 2014's that had it then.  My old 14 didn't have it, nor did my brothers, dad's and several friends.  My boss has an 2014 high country and his won't do it.
Not on my 2014 but I imagine there has to be a way to upgrade for it.

Guess they were saved for their best customers lol! Who cares, no ones one truck is better than the other, just different creature features, I don’t even use it my 18 or even in my DMax. I’m Looking into the 2022 DMax

I had a 2014 Sierra SLE and it didn't have the window down feature... My 2016 Silverado LT does have it and I do use it frequently in the hotter months... Not a must have but, I enjoy it...

I use mine frequently. I will not leave my windows down or truck unlocked anywhere. But I my new job I can see my truck from the window so on hot and nice days I’ll put them down 20 min before I head out. Usually they stay down on the drive home as well.

I don’t know if a single situation where this would be useful, at least around where I live.

I use it every time its hot out and I'm parked in the sun.

If its 90+ outside, your interior is 120+. When remote starting, you are just blowing around the super hot air and slowly mixing with cooled air from the vents.

If you lower the windows a minute or two before you get to the truck, AND remote start it, all the hot air has escaped the windows and you can get in and enjoy the cool AC immediately. Especially useful when loading the kids into the back seat. It saves fuel and cools the truck faster.

This does make sense, but my truck is garage parked all of the time unless I’m running errands. Then I don’t trust to have my windows open and truck running with all the gadgets I have inside. Too easy for someone to reach in and grab something in my opinion. I always start the truck as I’m walking to it in order for it to cool off some before getting in.

Yeah, I have never, nor will I ever, open the windows when I'm not within view of the truck. I park in a garage at home so that's not a problem. Basically if I go to Menards or Wal-mart, I will grab my fob when I exit the store and hit the button as soon as I can see my truck. Hence the 1-2 minutes of open windows is all you need to let the hot air escape.

Or if i'm travelling alone and I don't leave anything of value in the truck, I just leave all the windows down 1" or so. the vent shades cover the opening so you can't really see that they are open from the outside. But on a real hot day, that still doesn't do enough.

I live in WI, where we only have maybe 10 days of 90 degrees a summer. I hate those days. I can't imagine living in texas.

Probably different since mines a 14 but I click unlock and then hold it for 5 seconds and they all goes down. I didn’t have any setting in the radio or anything to make it work

It’s hot 95% of the year here lol, I wouldn’t dare leave my windows open even one inch, especially in Houston area!
