What would happen if I disconnected the ground cable sensor? I'm moving my battery to the other tray and would hate to add 4' of cable just to hit this sensor.

 

Maybe I could add the long cable just so the sensor has something to report, but also run a second shorter ground to the block from the new battery location. Thoughts?
