Service Air Bag Light

I have a 2006 Silverado WT. It has had a Service Air Bag light and DIC message since shortly after I purchased it a few years ago. I have made several trips back to the dealer to replace the front impact sensors and clockspring per the error codes. Here is the weird thing, when it gets cold (35F and lower) there is no light or error. So I do not see the error 3 months out of the year. I am not sure whether it is a temperature or a humidity issue that is causing it. Any ideas hive mind?

And this is why electrical problems can be expensive to track down. Need to create the environment that causes the problem, find a wiring diagram with signal information , and test, test, test.

Likely a short somewhere that goes away when things dry out and shrink. In most cases, it's the pigtail that plugs into the sensor. But, as likely, if you had accident damage or repair shop bungling, it could be near these areas in the wire bundle (Ie, crushed wire bundle and spit sheathing on one or more wires)
