How much could I get for my wheels/tires?

I'm thinking about upgrading my stock wheels and tires to something nicer. How much would be a fair ask for my stock set? Just got the truck so they have less than 3000 miles on them.

For oem takeoffs with the crap SRA's, probably $800 tops. Craigslist is your best bet.

yep, these tires are worthless. I'm thinking about selling mine and asking $200 just for the rubber.

 

I think its easy to find buyers for rubber though. A lot less people looking for OEM rims.

 

Ask the shop you buy your new set from what they will give you on a trade-in. It may be less, but you won't have to deal with trying to sell them yourself. I think Discount Tire will buy the old ones from you.

$1200 seems about the high range for them.  Place ad on Craigslist asking $1,400 and go from there.  Dummies will offer 7-800 just be polite and say no thanks. Eventually a serious buyer who knows what he's getting will come along.

if you have room to store them for a few months, no harm in asking high and waiting for a taker.

But a set of truck tires take up a lot of space, so I would get sick of walking around them in my garage real quick.

seperate the tires and sell locally, and then list each wheel on ebay and put shipping price or include that in your price. People are sometimes looking for one replacement wheel vs a set.

Otherwise you may not get as much as you'd like.

Well the plan was to buy new ones and sell these rather quickly so I could not feel the hit... I think i might swing by discount and see what they can offer.

this is a good option too... probably easier to divide them up.

What rims/wheel setup do you guys have? I want to start looking at options.
