  Got the parts from Digi key today.. need to wait a few days before I can install and test the camera as I had the truck Krown rust protected and it will still be dripping the oil for a while

Dont solder, crimp the connections.

I just ordered an auto vox 6 license plate cam for when my truck camper is on (tail gate has to be down/removed).  

I've also ordered the compatible plug and pins that plug in where my tailgate camera plugs.  Am I dreaming or does think this will work?

I haven't sat in one yet - is the screen on the '19 T1 trucks any better?  Even if we had a 4K camera back there, that screen is also a significant limiting factor.  

 

I do agree the camera is garbage.  It is no better (and might actually be worse) quality than the OEM camera that was in my '07 Escalade EXT.  11 years and same/worse isn't a good deal.
