Best way to remove Corsa muffler intact?

I'm trading my Corsa Touring for a Corsa Sport, but I'm having a hell of a time getting my Touring muffler off. Clamps are loose, but that muffler is not sliding at all on the exhaust pipes... I'm going to grab a torch tomorrow and heat up the larger pipes on each end, but are there any other tricks I can try to get it off? I'm working on my driveway with the truck on the ground, so my leverage is limited. It seems like I could try removing muffler back from the hangers, but even the hangers seem like a PITA to remove. Any ideas? Muffler only has 2500 miles on it, so there is no rust holding it together.

I had the exactly same issue when I did mine.  Torch on the outer side of the sleeve, then take a chisel, park it right on the edge of the outer pipe, and hit it with a mallet.  Eventually you can work the muffler back off.

I also used ratchet straps to help pull the pipe and the muffler in opposite directions while doing this.

Tried using a torch and chisel tonight, no luck. Even had the whole system from the muffler back free from the hangers to get as much movement as possible but it just won't budge. I'm going to try a dead blow and a wood block next week, after heating up the sleeve again...

What if you took it for a drive so the exhaust is hot and should be expanded? Maybe it might help you a little more

PB Blaster or similar penetrating fluid - pulling the whole exhaust off shouldn't be too hard if you need the leverage. The rubber hangers may be absorbing a lot of your efforts with the hammer.
