Are you in Auto 4WD? I’ve noticed a different sound between 2WD and Auto when accelerating. Happened in my ‘15 and now in my ‘18 Sierra. Not sure if this is the sound you are hearing? But if it is then it’s normal. The link you posted won’t open for me.

Maybe there’s a supercharger lurking under the hood...how hard is said acceleration? Haha

No it is in 2wd. And usually around 2500 rpms. It will do it at different speeds also. I brought it to the dealership and they are thinking it may be the serpintine belt slipping but it almost sounds like it is comming from underneath the truck. I’m hoping that it is as simple as a slipping belt!

Probably that flapper valve in the exhaust.   You'll find some threads on a search.   You can take a small c-clamp and clamp it open and then see if it keeps doing it so you'll know if it's something else.     It's normal but if it bothers you you can leave it clamped that's what I did.

I recently noticed the same thing on my 2014 Silverado around 95,000 mi. Following and hoping someone has a solution.

And you can do this on a truck with expired warranty how????
