I have a carolina carport garage 20x18 and 9 foot walls snow rated roof plus 10x10 garage door. The garage was $5400 installed on my $2500 concrete slab. There is no way i could have done a wood building for near that price. If you install it yourself you save $500 but to me wasn't worth doing myself .  They put it up in a little more than a 1/2 a day. The total height of the roof is just over 12 ft. I would have went bigger if i had the room. Just so you know my 2018 gmc double cab fits with 4 inches to spare with the 20 ft length. Measurements are the outside of the building.

Here is side pic of garage. Not the greatest pic but the pic was of my truck. I need to take some of garage.

Nice pic. My crew cab standard 6.6’ bed is exactly 20 feet or 240 inches. I see lots of carports and garages listed at 20’ but that is outside diameter so would not fit. Damnit. Lol

I bought an eagle carport 30x26x8 free install on prepped surface.

Love it been through storms, snow, hail. No problems.  Just installed snow blocks this year to protect garage doors and air conditioner

You should consult with specialists. Every year new companies appear, and most of them produce low-quality materials. If you are not knowledgeable in this area, it will be difficult to distinguish good products from bad ones. Recently, I also decided to build a carport. I am naughty at construction, so I turned to them for help https://carportaustralia.com.au/ and a good reason. These guys have been in the business for a long time. They quickly built me a carport; moreover, they cooperated with other firms that provided materials at a reduced price.
