California Water Blade

Do any of you use a water blade? I am thinking about getting one for the purpose of just faster drying. How well does it work? When you make one pass across the sheetmetal, is that part totally dry? Are there streaks? I figure I could use one of those to get it 98% dry, then use a towel for the bumpers, trim, etc. Thanks!

They work awesome. Yes it is 100% dry after one swipe. It is just like a window squeegy though. It is a lot softer but it will leave streaks if you aren't careful. But just have a nice Cotton Towel to dry it off after you pass over the whole pannel. They are definatly worth the $20 I think.

I love using mine as well...the one thing you want to be careful of is not getting the blade dirty. Any dirt on the blade will scratch the paint. However, it is easy to keep the blade clean.

It is great when you have a lot of real estate to wipe off. I still have to get in the nooks and crannies with my water sprite though. I would recommend them

been using one for about 3 years and only have to buy one per year

best thing for keeping the windows from spotting too

take good care of it though , it only takes one time to ruin it

anyone know where to get them for less than$20 ???

Walmart is the cheapest around here for the water blade and the California Duster.

Thumbs up here too. It sounds bad going across the new paint but it works like a champ. Makes owning a black vehicle much easier.

Sweet - I think I will buy one. I have been using the absorber for years, but I have gotten to the point where I barely have any time to wash the truck, never the less use the time-consuming absorber on it. I have resorted to only towels...one to get the majority of the water off, then another to remove the rest of the water and the spots that I missed with the first. Only problem is I have dirty towels in the end, which I hate. I'll be buying a water blade soon, and continue to use the absorber for detail drying. Thanks for all the input!
