Tire Question/Recommendation

I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 LT that has stock 265/65/r18 Goodyear SA's on it.  When I buy new tires I want to put on the Hankook Dynapro ATM tires and a 2 inch front level kit.  My question is, with the 2inch lift, what is the biggest tire I could get (without buying rims) without doing any cutting?

Lots of reading on this forum on this exact topic.   I found it saved me a lot of money and upset by learning from others' experiences!  Your best performance will be maintained by keeping stock (or close) tire size.  A 1"-1.5" level will give you a leveled look while still allowing a respectable payload w/o squatting.

If you put on 285 65 they will fit with no rubbing and they will look great however your give up one to two MPG.

I had Toyo Open Country at2 for about 3 years and just got rid of them and put on 275 70 r18 Cooper AT3, they are obviously narrower than the 285 but they also are a half inch taller so I actually have increased ride height.

The Coopers certainly don't look as tough as my wife's KO'2's, based on the tread block design, but they are certainly the quietest Tire I have ever owned on a truck

I have a 17 silverado LT standard bed, would you still suggest a 1-1.5 level with stock tires?

Yes.  This will be enough to give the visual improvement you are seeking without any potential issues associated with more aggressive levelling kits.  (This is my opinion based on my research).  As a side note:   After purchasing my kit, I added a bed mat, canopy and a large storage chest to the back of my truck.  The addition of these items tamed the raked look of my truck enough to cool my hurry to level my truck.   I am currently looking to take advantage of the '18 clear-outs so any plans are on hold.   If I do keep this truck and add 1.5" to the front, I will be adding a leaf or block to the rear.  My truck with stock suspension maintains a proper stance when pulling my travel trailer.
