Rear sway Bar

I do not have a lifted Truck but have had the Hellwig rear sway bar on all my trucks.  It is a great addition and provides a noticeable improvement in handling.  I will be installing one on my 19 as soon as they are available this January.

Less independent articulation, and a rougher ride when only one wheel encounters a bump.

And increased rear roll stiffness reduces understeer/increases oversteer potential.

Roll stiffness and off-roading don’t go well together.

Anyone install a rear sway Bar on their lifted trucks?  Thoughts?

i got bored and order a Hellwig.

I have the Hellwig 7886 on my 2018 Sierra 1500.  Hellwig recommended it for any lifts between 3" - 6".  I had their 7735 on my 2015 but it had a 2" kit.

The Hellwig group has been around for many years with solid products.

Installed both front and rear units on my old 96 Tahoe replacing factory / skinny bars..

Improved handling on that beast..

I installed Hellwig 7735 rear sway bar on my 2016 RCSB, 2-weeks ago with End Links set in middle location..

Overall handling and cornering was Greatly Improved.

Have 2" level-lift on front with BFG K02's and its really fun to drive..

I may try the inner location for End Links but for now it works...

Since I am in rust-belt,, sprayed heavy black enamel on all parts to help protect them from salt-crud...

Cheers---K
