18 Sierra, fuel priming noise quit

21k miles, starter quit. Warranty took care of it but since they did the fuel pump noise (priming/precharging) I'd hear when opening the driver door is no longer there. Any ideas?

I would take it right back to where you got it fixed and let them know.  Could be nothing, but I think you would want to let them know just in case.

Keep in mind that it doesn't always prime. I thought mine had stopped working too after I had just wired in the air compressor for my rear airbags. I thought maybe I had inadvertently pulled a wire  loose while doing this but I noticed this morning that it did prime. It probably only primes itself when the pressure in the system is lower than a certain point.
