2014 Sierra SLE Headlights

As we all know, the stock projectors for the SLEs are complete garbage. I have a set of HIDs in them right now, but the beam pattern is garbage. The stock halogens almost seem to be better in them even though the HIDs appear brighter. I was wondering if anyone has found a good HID or LED kit for these projectors, or if anyone has found a good set of aftermarket headlights that work well. I do have 35% tint on my windshield, but I have had that on all of my other vehicles and never had a problem before. I would love to get the SLT or Denali headlights, but I can't get myself to drop over $1,000 on headlights. Gotta color match the bumpers before I can spend that on headlights.

Just want to see what other people have done and hear some suggestions, Thanks!

What HID kit are you using?  I have the Morimoto 35w in my 2015 and it’s decent.  The real upgrade was installing Rigid SAE fog lights.  They provide wicked output and really fill out the light pattern.  I’d recommend getting a pair.

I just put up a post last night about some LED bulbs I tried off Amazon. They're the cheaper option Hikari brans bulbs, cost me $37 I think. I'm sure there's some benefit to the higher end ones but this was an experiment. The cutoff is exactly the same as before but the lights are noticably brighter with more throw. With the stock halogens I could barely see street signs and now I have no concerns while driving. Ironically I was flashed a lot with the stock bulbs which was laughable because they're barely bright enough to see and they were adjusted correctly but I haven't gotten flashed once this week. I'd be interested to see if more expensive bulbs are better but I'm a cheapass.

The retrofitsource.com has a kit for the 2014.I had it in mine,it cost $170.00 at the time.I just traded it for a 2018 Denali and it was just about as good as my new 18.I also bought their fog light kit that I never installed brand new in box that I would sell for $125. They sell for $210.00 new.
