Wheel difference 2006 vs. 2018

Hello all: I have a 2006 Silverado that have 18" wheels on it when i bought it.  Now has the stock 17".

 

So i like the 2018 rims from Z71 and can pick up a set of take offs for 600 bucks with P265/R65/18 tires.

 

So is the bolt pattern the same for the wheels and will these newer wheels work on my 06?

From everything I've seen, yes they should work fine. I think the newer wheels look sharp on older trucks!

Well got sold out from under me. So does it matter for the truck or speedo on getting the 18" wheels vs. 17". Doesnt hurt anything i assume.?

The factory-sized 265/65R-18 and 265/70R-17 wheels/tires have the same overall diameter, so your speedometer will be OK.

Yup, those newer wheels would be a great fit. 

 

Keep your eye open for another set.  People are continually upgrading their wheels.  More will come available.

Anyone seen the midnight silver wheels on any rigs? What you all think about them?  Guess they are a darker gray. Some call them gunmetal gray
