Im wandering what is a good Leather Cleaner and a really good Protectant.  Ive seen too many GM trucks with Faded or Cracked leather relatively early in their lives and I really want to avoid it, any suggestions?

I've used Lexol Leather Cleaner and Protectant.  Works great.  I've used them on 2 seven year old cars with leather and have no problems.  Hyde Food is recommended by Rolls Royce, but is really hard to find. :D

I used Zaino 9 and 10 (leather cleaner, leather protectant) on mine about two weeks ago.  Still smells good (close to new leather).  It doesn't leave the leather greasy or slick (except for the first day.....and my butt didn't wear it off! )  :D  Sorry, haven't really put it through a good test.  It's a new 2001 truck, first time I used a leather conditioner.  ??? I love it though so far.  I also like it because it doesn't leave a gloss on the leather.  I'm sure there are others here who use it, and will back up the long-gevity of it.

My truck's a 95 and its leather is in perfect condition.  I put Meguairs Gold Class cleaner and protetant on every few months.  Just put some on a clean towel and rub it into the seats, it says to rub it off right away with a clean towel but I let it sit on and soak in for about 10 minutes and it does a great job.

Eagle One leather cleaner and then Eagle One leather Conditioner.

I just did the truck a few weekends ago and did the Aurora this past Monday night and now it looks supple and healthy again.

But it comes down to how well you clean it first.  Plus I wouldn't use an all in one cleaner/conditioner.

The Eagle one cleaner is a spray on cleaner.  I also use a stiff bristle brush to get into the nooks and crannies of the seat and then wipe it dry.

The conditioner is a lotion that you apply with your bare hands, let sit for awhile (overnight is the best) and then wipe off with a rag.

I agree with siume99! The Zaino product is great. Especially for older cars, the leather smell brings the interior back to life! I have also heard real good things about the Lexol product, but I have never tried it myself!
