Tailgate notification

Any way to silence the audible beeping when raising/lowering tailgate? This is not going to be good on hunting trips.

Mine doesn’t beep when you use the tailgate button to lower it and you can either pick it up and close it manually or if you have a HC bump it up and it doesn’t beep.

No matter how I raise it beeps. I'll have to leave it down when being sneaky.

Check your settings in your infotainment system.  Might be in there.

Mine only beeps when I power it up via fob or the switch in cab. As others have said, no beep when opening or closing “old school style”...

Bingo. Thanks! Those pheasants that tolerate trucks driving up the their fields BUT hate beeping sounds will never know what hit them!!! haha

How are you opening without the assist?  Mine only has the button
