So. My 2005 Silverado 3500 CC is blowing ice cold air out of the 2 passenger side dash vents but a lower volume, warm air out of the 2 Drivers side dash vents. I am wondering if this could be any blend door actuator other the the drivers side? I know there are several actuators in the system and i don't want to just start replacing them one after another. I have tried to re-calibrate the system but no change. Ideas?

My 2007 did something similar, the driver side wouldn't get quite as cold as the passenger. I removed the actuator for drivers side blend door, took it apart and cleaned it. (It didn't appear dirty inside) Put it all back together and did the blend door relearn procedure. All was well after that.

Yep, driver side blend door

Pull the actuator, check that door moves freely. Note alignment of door for cold air.
Disassemble actuator, investigate for
-broken gear
- stuff in the mechanism.
- volts to motor and switched to confirm it moves both ways
- the colored gear is a position sensor and in some cases, includes a stop. It needs to be aligned correctly with the large drive gear to ensure proper feed back to the bcm. Initial assembly should match the setting on the door.
