2019 T1 Silverado Throwback Paint Job

My first 1/2 ton pickup truck was a 1969 deluxe two ton black and white F100.  The red interior was a bonus!   I believe the potential for making a sharp looking two-tone on these new trucks exists although the example here does not looked finished.  Adding red Katzkins would also be on my list!

This is hideous.  It worked on the early 14-19 k2xx models very well, but this is fail.

I think it could work on the T1 also if they put this much effort into it.  This one looks great because they scaled it appropriately to work with the lines of the truck, and the trim border is a nice touch too.

I have seen this on some of the K2 trucks. Suppose to mimic the "Big 10" Chevy trucks from the 70s.

This particular unit seems like a failed attempt to me   LOL.  But worth sharing .......

I can dig two tone if its done right. Imo i think this should be like 1999 two tone. And someone mentioned no white with black. I agree with that comment silver or gold would've been better.

Much better Moend.

The old-school two tone made sense on the 2014-15 K2 trucks since they were obviously a modern take on the old square bodies. These T1's don't fit that mold design wise. A two-tone like the GMT-800's might work better. Ford does two-tone paint jobs right on the F-150.
