The SET button for the memory seat settings isn’t working. No beep when I hold it down.

I noticed this after I installed a new drivers side mirror and went to reset them with the new mirror in place.

The memory buttons are working but I can’t reset them.

I have checked that the memory settings are on in the settings on the dash and I have already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and the reset did nothing.

What else can I try?

Harness on the door panel? Do you think something could have come unplugged when I had the door panel popped off to replace the mirror? I didn’t take the entire panel off. Just enough to get the mirror off and reach down to disconnect the power assembly and reconnect it on the new one.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but it doesn't give a beep for step one, which is press and release the 'set' button.

Beep (should) happen in next step which is holding the '1'. '2' or 'exit' ...whichever is being changed.

Are you pressing the 'set' button first?

Pushing the set button tells it you want to change the programming, rather than have it move to the memorized location.

The 'beep' after holding the second button tells you the current locations have be saved.

This is the operation in my wife's Cadillac, too, which I assume is the same as the trucks.  Adjust everything, press 'Set' then press and hold the location you want it saved to until it beeps.

Did you ever figure this out?  The set button on my Chevy isn’t working. The memory buttons work fine, but trying to save a new adjustment and it won’t let me. Yes, car is on. Yes, memory setting in the menu is on. Only the set button is broken. No beep at all even when pressed and held for several seconds
