Got in my truck this morning, absolutely zero sound coming from entertainment system. I tried Sirius satellite, FM, Apple CarPlay. Nothing. Any ideas?

Mine did this a couple of times a few months back.  The next time I started the truck the audio was back.

Exact thing happened to me. Cars are just computers now!

They should come out with a trim level called Reboot....nothing works when you first start the vehicle for a test drive and after that first start up, the vehicle does all sorts of odd things that are never able to be reliably replicated for troubleshooting.

I have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and I have been having the same issue of no sound, no audio from anything.  No blinker sound, no door chime and no radio.   It has been going on for several months, it was just going off every once in awhile and continuously got worse, now it will go off for days at a time then come back in.  Makes a popping sound when it goes off and comes back on.  Have contacted Chevrolet and have still not got it resolved.  My car was just out of warranty when the issue started.  I have taken to local Chevrolet dealer for diagnosis, but I really feel like they are just guessing.  Saying water is running from HVAC onto module and shorting it out, their fix is diversion of water for a lot of $$$ but who is to say the said module will even last if thats the case and I'm sure it is not a cheap part.  Getting very discouraged that Chevrolet won't get to the bottom of this issue and fix the problem.  Buying  a brand new vehicle, you would expect this would be addressed as I see I am not the only one with this problem.  Has anybody gotten it fixed and it stay fixed, I'm not convinced that it isn't a software problem.

I just got my truck a month ago. It’s a 2020 Silverado with 82 miles on it and it’s doing it now. Just got in it this morning and no sound for satellite radio or local tune. But, it will Bluetooth my iPhone and play music from it. Shaking my head!!

New 2021 Sierra SLT with about 140 miles on it. No radio sound and AM and FM tuners don't load. Sirius XM doesn't work. Bluetooth to my phone worked and played music. Started working after the truck was off for a while and restarted. Dealer says its not a known issue, but we'll see...

I'm having the same issue in my 2021 Sierra but the audio will dip out at random.  It doesn't matter what the source is (Alexa, FM, AM, USB) including taking a call via Android Auto if the audio is dipping out it will disappear from all sources.

I checked and my OnStar button is green.  Took a three hour drive yesterday and the problem slowly got worse untill about the halfway mark where the sound stopped working all together. The light remained green the whole time.

I spent the rest of my drive listening to music and nav directions on my $50 Walmart phone..... In my almost $60k 2021 truck.  Banannas, maybe I should have stuck with my Tundra.

When it happens to me, if you disconnect the negative battery terminal and reconnect, it seems to fix it. At least for me. I am cleaning up and improving grounds when I get the free time.

Same here.  It just happened to me yesterday.  No sound from radio, blinkers, safety belt warning alarm, etc.  I immediately disconnected the battery negative cable and waited about 2 minutes, then connected it back up.  Everything has been fine since.  Hope it doesn't happen again.  Only 8000 miles on the 2021 Sierra 1500 truck.
