Racindave, any drone in cab with the super 50? You think a super 50 single in single out would sound just as good?

I can’t tell the drone with the flapper, but like i said you can tell when in it goes to v4 running 80ish. Of course it’s louder at those speeds due to the rpms. (You can just hear the exhaust change)  I did pin the flapper open at one time and there was drone. Normal driving without interstate and you hardly notice when it changes.  I’m not sure on the single out if it would make that much difference. I wanted the dual tips so i went with the single in dual out.

Ive got the Corsa sport exhaust and its made the truck exactly how i wanted it. Loud when i get in it and quite when im rolling down the highway

The flowmaster catback with the super 50 has a nice deep tone and i have no drone. 6.2 dbl cab. I had a corsa on my 05 GTO and it did sound nice but a little raspy for my taste. The Borla ATAK is louder than my Flowmaster with a similar deep tone.

Gagliano7, did you keep the 3 cats? Resonator and flapper gone? Si/so?

Flow master catback is from 3rd cat back. The flapper is behind the stock muffler so that and resonator are gone. I have had the range on since 40 miles and my 8 speed shifts like butter.

Ok sounds good, so you kept the flapper? No resonator then right? .

Flapper is before muffler on my 18. Still have it, but no resonator. Also, I think it has more power and pulls better with the exhaust. Not sure why some would say less power. Mine will flat out fly. If you aren’t going to disable v4, you should keep the flapper. Just my 2 cents.
