Hello I am waiting for my Sierra carbon pro to get delivered and heard that the carbon beds do not have a traditional lip to install bed covers?

can anyone verify this? Thank you

seen this exact same question on a Facebook group.  Here is the photo that was attached.   It does look like the bed rails are filled.

Talked to two separate bed cover brands which said they don’t have anything compatible as of yet.  I looked at a 2019 1500 CarbonPro edition at my local dealer a few days ago and it looks like it’s going to be difficult for any manufacturer to make something that will work.  There just isn’t anything to clamp to.  Maybe GMC has something up their sleeve.

There’s pre drilled holes on the bed rail under the plastic rail cover. I’ve thought about using butterfly anchors to attach the rails but have not yet attempted

I bought to hard cover from weather tech not knowing it was manufactured by a different company. I have the right rail and don’t believe it fits your application

I used a clamp for a Tacoma with the side rail system. Drilled 1/2” hole in to the side Of the bed rail and inserted 350lb hollow walls. Now that I know it works I’ll probably install a unistrut side rail, secure it to the side with the hollow walls, and use strut nuts.
It’s secure.

GM told me sorry nothing out there yet. The tonneau mfgr. told me sorry and to return it. What I did works but lot of trial and error.
