just installed my leather shifter it’s a simple 10minute upgrade one screw and one connector.

Looks nice Frank! Where did you wind up getting the shifter from? I have been all over up here and everyone says they do not have any wrecked late model silverado/sierra/tahoe/yukon. I haven't tried my dealer yet, however. Hmmm.

My homeboy has a shop usually gets crashed vehicles mainly Silverado and Sierra some Denali’s I can see if he has more usually sells them with the dash if he parts them out, if he rebuilds then he usually keeps them stock just swaps the dash if airbags deployed.

Yeah their the same from 2014-2018, only one screw and one connector I got mine off a 2017 and it works on my 2014 Silverado

Do you have any pictures of when you were taking the two plastic pieces off of the steering column to access the shift lever?

Picked up a leather shifter recently, just trying to find time to put it on.

I used a plastic prying tool so I don’t damage anything, I think u can watch the video of the heated steering wheel swap to get that plastic piece off. It’s pretty easy to remove just don’t break it. For some reason since I did the upgrade my my iPhone to iOS 13 I can’t share nothing from YouTube otherwise I would of posted the video for u
