Very curious what the members that have used this intake for a few months now think? Any feedback fellas?

Been going great for me since I put it on in early October. Probably around 4k miles without any issues at all. No check engine lights, errors or other odd behavior. Truck drives and shifts better than ever.

I have not seen an answer to why this CAI does not require an ECM refresh but the GM one does.  Can someone explain that?

While I can't comment on any of our competitors, I can tell you a few things about our development process.

During development one of our main goals is to produce a system that will perform great on the factory calibration. This is no easy task, especially on newer GM vehicles. We implement unique development and prototyping methods which allow us to test over 100 different configurations on the road and track. By closely monitoring and logging pertinent data over the course of many months, we arrive at what we consider to be the “perfect” cold air intake for the vehicle. Then we tool up for production and prepare for release. At Roto-fab, the constant chase for perfection is the real motivation for everything we do.

Thanks for your interest! Please let us know if you have any more questions about our CAI.

Pulled the trigger on one of these today, looking forward to installing and the subsequent gains in performance, sound, MPG and of course aesthetics, it's a great looking intake!

Installed my Roto-Fab intake, I'm pleased. Looks great, with good quality components and R&R instructions.

I like that it's not obnoxiously loud when I step on it but you can tell it's there, it's more of an aggressive intake sound now...like it's growling!

The truck feels strong under heavy acceleration, still stock exhaust but you can note a slightly deeper note at idle and rev!

Fuel economy....we'll see!

I like it!!
