Drivetrain weakpoint?

New to the forum and wanted to know if anybody has an opinion on what’s the weakest point in the 6.2 with 8speed drivetrain? Rear end? Drive shaft? Transmission?

What year? But drive shaft then trans/converter. This is assuming stock or little extra power and non sticky tires on a non track surface.

2018 putting the Whipple and exhaust on this weekend. Looking to see what else I need to improve on so I don’t break it. lol

No track or drag radials.

under 550 WHP You're fine IMO. When you start getting over 600 you need a good amount of upgrades...

Ok I am very familiar with that. GOOD tune with trans. But depending on power the converter is weak.

Thanks. That’s as far as I’m going to take it. It’s a daily driver that I want to pull a trailer with.

Oh also depends on tune. Power enrichment and torque management. And you will be hard pressed to get to 600hp on stock block you will run out of fuel.

Whipple, long tubes, exhaust will get you their np @ around 6lbs boost. Especially with a good tuner. You could easily swap the Throttle body and pulley down the road if you wanted more power later. after that you need Fuel pump lower and upper, injectors, possibly meth injection/nos etc. Then your weak points will be rotating assembly and valve train.

Won’t be looking for that much out of it. 500 to the wheels tops.

exactly. Meth would be next step for more bang and then the pumps/injectors. at that point it would be internals  and about 15k later lol!! DONT DO IT!!!! get the blower/tune and possibly meth and call it a BEAST!!

yeah that's what I said. Then I got a built block and all this other crap in my "signature". And it's just a daily driver lol. but that's how I roll.
