EZ-Fit brake line kits

Has anyone had experience with these new AGS EZ-Fit NICOPP brake line kits?  From the photo, it looks like it is a set of pre-measured length lines in a coil.  I need to replace rusted lines in my silverado and these claim to make the job easier.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

I did the lines on my truck using GM nylon-coated steel pre-bent lines, and they took some time getting them into place.  I think it would be even more difficult to manually bend them to follow the right path while installing them, particularly the rear line.

The one thing I didn't like was that the GM kit didn't include the two lines running along the rear axle to each wheel, and they are also NLA separately.

I see your point about having to bend manually.  What I got from researching these and NICOPP in general, is that you don't necessarily need to follow the exact path (or shape) of the OEM lines.  Meaning you could manually bend them as you are installing. The other selling point is that the NICOPP supposedly outlasts stainless steel. Since I haven't done a brake line replacement yet on my Silverado, I don't really know what to expect, therefore I probably won't know which product is better suited until I get into the job.  So this is why I'm soliciting input.

Well, you want to be really careful with the path the lines take, as they are pretty thin, and can easily get a hole rubbed in them if they happen to touch something else that they can vibrate against.

Ya,  I thought of that.  Altering the the path, even a little, might require extra hold down clamps...  which wouldn't necessarily be a big problem.

They stole that idea from me. [emoji23]. When ‘05 truck here need brake lines few years back. Went to parts store and bought 2 rolls of copper nickel. Its like $70 a roll. Re used the brake line fittings. One of hardest part was the abs box and getting them run through that. Now after all that work and if had to do it again would probably buy all pre bent stainless lines. Also used copper nickel lines for the fuel lines when they rusted out.

I bought the dorman kit for my 01 Tahoe https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-2000-2002-Chevrolet-Tahoe-Brake-Hydraulic-Line-Kit-Dorman-94434ZQ-2001/392125954678?fits=Year%3A2001|Model%3ATahoe&epid=11023806920&hash=item5b4c873a76:g:-D0AAOSwqo5dPVl-

Fit perfectly. But i often used those copper lines on several other cars (whenever only one line was rotten, or i needed quick replacement). You can bend them pretty easily, but i would prefer the pre-bend ones whenever i can.

As a further note, regardless of how you decide to do it, be careful with the clips holding the brake lines.  At least some of them are NLA, and you can't really take ones off wrecked trucks (as they press into the frame, and you can't get behind them to release the clip from the frame).

I noticed that...  Seems like, as my truck gets older, more and more parts are becoming "no longer available." ?

I have run the other kits from the same supplier and others using the same material. Its good and I would recommend it as I have had no issues. Many shops use the same line as it is easier to work with and provides a good product for what it is.
