N speed rated tires on my Silverado

I recently purchased a Silverado back in the summer and it had mud tires on it, three of them are brand new and still have full tread they are Hercules trail digger m/t 265/75/R16 they have a speed rating of N which is 87 mph. I’m needing to replace the one bad tire on the truck but not sure if the N speed rating is safe. I do not speed and only travel at most 200 mile trips at a time and not going over 75-80 at the absolute most when doing so. Do you guys think these tires are fine to keep on the truck and just purchase a similar replacement for the 4th tires since the trail digger has been discontinued or should I go the route of purchasing 4 a/t for the truck. I’d just like to get opinions on this before I decide the route to go. Of course I’d rather save the money and purchase one tire compared to four. It’s a 2001 Silverado 1500

To some, 4 matching tires would be the correct way to go. Sell the other 3 to gain back a few bucks type of thing.

If you are okay with having one different tire with a similar tread pattern, that is okay still. The speed rating is low but as you already said this isn't your hot rod so it's going to be a non issue there.

Thanks the speed thing was really my main concern, really it is the first I’ve ever noticed that speed ratings went that low. I just wanted to make sure Highway traveling was still safe with a rating like that.

I always tell my customer at Americas tire. Always have the same tire (size, make, model, and roughly life) on the same axle. Replace 2 tire for now. maybe hold the other "good" tire just incase.

Hmm good idea, I believe that’ll be what I do I’ve been looking and I’m sure it won’t be to hard to find a tire with a similar tread pattern like the trail diggers. Thanks for the input I appreciate it!
