(BTW my truck is 28 months old now and it reads something like 12.8K LOL!!!)

52k and change on my 99 now. And that's due to climb. Just went from a 8.5mi each way to 22mi each way trip to work. Heck, it's 12 each way to the parents house. Gotta love having a new home further away from the big city(and most of civilization).

Like 99silveradoz71 is about to do...my drive to work is 22 miles each way. It doesn't take long to click on the miles driving that far. A small price to pay for living away from the big city and the nuts.

13 months and just hit 20K. I'm putting 800 miles a week on the truck now and the miles are going to rack up fast. I have mixed emotions about it. I hate running up the mileage but I'll probably have to buy a new truck sooner than I had planned. I wonder if the 2005s will make me spring or if I'll have to wait till 2006 for something to get me excited.

Well, let' see...

 

My 02' Z71 Silverado 5.3 just rolled 26,200 miles

My wife's 04 Z71 Tahoe 5.3 is at 982 miles

 

and for comparison...

 

My 77 Chevy 2wd Long bed w/305 around 390,000 (5,000 on new engine),

The '91 2wd 'burb w/350 that I traded in on the '02 had 186,000 on the clock,

 

My Dad has an '85 2wd 'Burb w/350 with something like 350,000+ (not sure 'cause the odometer quit working a few years back!) and a 91 2wd w/350short box as a work truck that has a little over 200,000 miles and a 96 Z71 'Burb w/350 with, I think around 70,000...

 

That be a lot of combined miles for one family!

 

Gotta love those Chevy trucks! They takes a lickin...
