Dunn
at 51 yrs old I think why sell good tires and get rid of perfectly good rims.....I will have some king c/o on this baby though, you just wont know it by looking at it, lol
TXGREEK
Yes sir. I was prepared to buy new tires after I lifted, but to be honest, I think it looks great with the factory-sized tires on there. Plus, they are quiet and ride great. I *may* get some Ridge Grapplers when these wear out. I’d avoid Nitto and Toyo, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, tossed mine with 16k miles on them. Their sipping disappeared quickly cause the sipping doesn’t go straight down into the lugs. Here’s what mine looked like new, notice the sipping isn’t deep Here they are at 16k miles, sipping not allowing water to leave causing dangerous slippery conditions Here are my KO2’s, sipping goes straight down the lugs, excellent tires And I dropped from 34” tires to 33.5” and gained 2mpg, less rolling resistance with AT tires versus the large lug hybrid tires. TXGREEK
OP, when it comes to lifts, you really do get what you pay for. Most lifts will widen your turning radius and track width causing you to put on controversial spacers for the rear. I did my homework, took my time researching and found CST far superior in build quality. CST actually has reinforced welded gussets in their cross members and doesn’t require cutting of your front differential like most others. Here’s my 2018 Z71 SLT CC with a 4.5” CST LIFT on new 285/60/20 (33.5”) KO2’s There’s no garage or parking garage I can’t get into, it’s the perfect height lift. You can also go crazy with add ons too like coil overs and piggy back shocks. I’d start out with Bilstein 5100’s and save up for coil overs later. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MINE! But I changed my stock tires in my new truck. When you go to agressive looking & bigger All terrains, you realize how great the truck actually ends up looking and how much the stock tires lack. It now really looks like a 4x4 should look. All you have to do is sell your OEM tires. I wouldn't wait 50,000 miles to see my truck with that real look. It's time wasted and you won't regret it! But that's just me! And I'm in the stock wheels with factory offset camp. I love my stock rims and kept them. I like the old school look without that wide & blackened stuff that the younger people do now. I have the New old body style but if I had the New body style, I'd do the same. And yes, CST lifts all the way!! Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

LRod
What tires do you have, size and review in them too? Sent from AboveYokohama X-AT, 275/70/18's. The X-AT's are the biggest in that size (lots of research). They are truly 33.4x11.2 using a 18x8.5 factory wheel like mine. It's all on my build page at the Silverado Sierra forum. It's under LRod's build!Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
LRod
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations with 3-4 inch lifts? I have heard mixed reviews on Rough Country and Readylift. I don't want to go any bigger than 4 inches.Hey Aycock, I sent you a nice long PM with all the info you need for the CST.Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

No other mods to the front? I know the rears too, but I want to just know about what you did to the front.

I know the rears too, but I want to just know about what you did to the front. I’ve got a 2018 GMC SLT, Z71 CC, Tuned 6.2, CST 4.5”-5” lift, front coil overs, rear piggy backs and lots more but not pertaining to CST. I was running 295/60/20 34” Nitto Ridge Grapplers but dumped them at 16k miles cause they started slipping a lot, their sipping all but disappeared so now I’m running 285/60/20’s (33.5” tires) KO2’s. This whole setup has turned this truck into my favorite truck. Sent from Above
