NO POWER

ON MY 77 GMC JIMMY I HAVE 12.6 TO THE BATTERY AND POWER TO THE SOLENIOD AND NOTHING AFTER THE SOLENIOD. WHAT COULD IT BE ?

So you can't "jumper" the solenoid on the starter and cause the starter to turn over? The only thing after the solenoid is the starter. Could be a bad starter/solenoid assembly. Now if it engages this way, then look to the start switch about halfway down the steering column

IT WORKS WITH BUMP SWITCH BUT THATS IT.
