I have a 2016 Silverado LT which I bought last November. My shock absorbers, both front and back seem not to function properly anymore Is this a typical problem?

What has changed in less than 3 months of ownership that leads you to believe they are failing?

Are you comparing your new truck to your last vehicle? Is there anything visible on the shocks (such as leaks), spots on your garage floor/driveway?

The more information you provide, the better answers you will get for this problem.

I have all highway mileage experience on the k2 platform and I didn't actually see true shock degradation until 100k.

If you have automotive experience, strut compressors, an air compressor and impact driver, changing shocks isn't that bad. It's an afternoon job.

Should we just Hi-Jack this thread?

I think if you change the Amsoil fluid in your shocks daily, your truck should last for 2,000,000 miles/years?

If they’re ranch’s shocks they’re garbage.

I would only buy a 4x4 truck non z71 to get the GM shocks, which are much better

I hate rancho

Hope this helps
