Size Tires with Leveling Kit

Recommended Posts

I have read every post I can by searching before posting, but couldn't find the answer or found contradicting answers.   I have a 2018 Silverado Extended Cab, and was wondering two things.

1)  The way it sits stock - What is the largest Tire the truck can fit

2) If I do a leveling kit to level the front to the height of the back - what is the largest tire I could fit?

Thanks

I fit 285/70/18 (34x11.50) on a 2.5 inch level with no rubbing or trimming. Running 295/70/18 (34.5x12) now with minimal rubbing on the sway bar and had to zip tie the liners back.

noted.

If you’re looking into a level kit, look into new UCAs. I’ve been researching over the last few weeks and it sounds like if you have stamped steel control arms like me, the ball joint could possibly pop out on stock UCAs when these trucks have a level kit installed.

I’m leaning toward keeping my trucks suspension stock and install 32s and an aluminum skid plate because I’m concerned with warranty claims if I was to install say a 2” plus new UCAs. Your mileage many vary...
