Rancho quick lift problems

Recommended Posts

Posted

Just installed the Rancho front strut quicklift assembly.  Previously I had the stock struts with a leveling spacer and had no issue but the quicklift struts have raised the front a bit more and now it seems my upper control arms are hitting the droop stops.  The ride is terrible.  When I go across big dips it feels like a pogo stick.  Will aftermarket upper control arms fix the issue or do I need to put the stock springs on the Rancho struts?

If you're stuck on rancho and spending more they have these and they are ok but....

You could do way better.

I just got a set of these Kryptonite's for my 9" McGaughys lift . Heavy duty to the max and better replaceable balljoints.

Cognito are a great choice to for less $

they have these for lifted trucks I seen awhile back....they have em for lots of different years, and imagine they have to be ok.....specifically for lifts but haven't seen any reviews.....seems most do the same job and are stronger than stock...

these too.....but motofab, readylift and most other lift companies make em as well....they can get pricey depending....obviously mazulla, baja kits, camburg, icon have em too if you wanna spend big dollars

I'd stay away from those tempting as it is to save a couple hundred bucks.

Go with the Cognito, BDS, Kryptonite, Fabtech, CST.

Those are all way better than the eBay junk shown above.

BTW the Kryptonite's have a lifetime warranty. Even the balljoints. They are stout my friend.
