Cruise not working

2018 Silverado cruise will not work, what is problem?

There can be codes that can prevent cruise control from working, that don't turn on the CEL.  You might try a code reader to check if there are any codes present.

 

It's also possible the switch or wiring in the steering column has failed, or there's a brake switch problem.
