ChuckTaylors27 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 so I'm looking to get a rear block, I've got the bds 2 in up front, I think getting the 2 in in th back would rid the sag but what looks best for you guys? really wondering what you guys paid tho... I mean the range is 30 bucks to 170 bucks and I don't see a whole lot of difference in product. what do y'all think?
JONBLARC7 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Well your stock ones are 1.25" I believe. So you'll only get .75" raise out of them if you go with 2" blocks. Measure how much lower your back fender is from your front fender. And see if .75" is enough.
Granite7 Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Compare materials and compare the structure. I have a Readylift 66-3002 2" Block Kit in the garage waiting for better weather. The Readylift is at the higher end of the price range but it is steel and is 2.25” to provide a full 1” of lift.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
nominion Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 How much do you want to raise the rear? If it's only around an inch, I'd skip the block and I'd go with the BDS add-a-leaf. It will raise the rear ~3/4 of an inch and it helps with any sag from heavy loads or when towing. The block won't help the truck handle additional weight. It's more work to install, but the benefits are worth it.
