I'm going to install a dash cam on the front windshield in the next few days and I'll be running a power wire down the passenger side A pillar to the passenger side fuse box. I'm not sure how much trouble it will be to access the fuse box from under the dash.  The run from the bottom of the A pillar to the fuses isn't far, so it shouldn't be too difficult.  Just wondering if someone else has done this and might have some insight as to the best way to get into the fuse box from the bottom of the A pillar.  Also, any advice on what switched fuse location would be best for a camera.

I ran my wires to the top of the fuse box. There’s access to the top from behind the A pillar molding. Not even sure how’d you access it from the bottom when the fuse box is directly under the A pillar.

I have my camper rear vision camera wired up- but I used this lug on the passenger side.  It's easy to get to and a spade terminal plugs right up.  It's retained accessory power too.

The power in the driver's side box is all constant hot (I believe) if you want that.

Hope that helps...

Yes, that does help and thank you!  I pulled the dash end off earlier today and it looks fairly simple to pass into the fuse location.  The camera should arrive on Monday - we'll see how it goes.
