2016 Head Unit issues.

I did a search and tried some of the reset fixes but i think my problem is a little different.  When I start the struck, the warning comes up on the radio about distracted driving and then keeps trying to reboot itself it seems.  The radio will play during this time, but eventually the screen goes black, the radio stops working, and none of the usb functions are there.  This happens about 5 minutes after the truck is started.

Sounds like your HMI module is going/gone bad.

Agreed...had a similar issue about a year ago...

Is that something than can be easily fixed or am I looking at a big bill here?  I’m out of warranty by about 4 months and 8k miles

HMU module. Look online for unlocked ones
