Was trying to test out the AC power outlet in the bed, had the motor running, pressed the button up front and green light comes on but no power to bed plug. According to manual I'm taking the right steps. Anything I'm missing?

Sounds like something else is going on. Mine works in the back as soon as I press the button up front.

Additionally check to make sure your not pulling too many AMPs on the circuit with the device you have plugged in back there. It will turn itself off automatically if that's the case.

What are you trying to power off of it? If you plug something in that draws too much power it doesn't power up.

Mine will charge my phone, power a radio but won't power a small portable printer.

Today I went through the same; 64 watt max load. Power up the outlet then plug in, don't plug in first. Not super impressed with the outlets, it would be nice if they worked without the truck running.

Has anyone tried adding a soft start to power a portable refrigerator using the bed power outlet?
