Just Purchased the Eibach Pro-Truck Lift...Question

For $200 can’t beat it. Bright and adds attitude to the truck. Install is pretty easy too!

Eibach is pretty close to me so just be easier to buy it from them and have it installed at their shop.....yeah well over 2" with springs, I think one guy got just under 3" mark at highest setting they recommend ( their is one more higher but say not to use it) and I think another member did try highest setting and said ride was pretty bad.....

I believe the rear shocks are good up to a 1"lift  in rear but they wont raise it 1"....you would need a block to get the lift.....or leaf spring kit

Ya, I saw the kit with the springs, didn’t come up under GMC for some reason, 2.4” front 1” rear, I think I’m going to pull the trigger and get a 2” block for the rear and Camburg uniball UCAs.

yeah idk how that works if they are rated for 1" lift and you do 2"....am sure if you don't pound it youll be fine

I actually just realized that the 2.4” lift is for the 2wd. 1.2” is for the 4wd. I sent an email to Eibach to see why they’re different and also if you select just their single rear shocks they’ll accommodate 1.5” of lift.... but their kit says 1”..... wtf

I was referring to rears in post I stated above.....pretty sure the fronts will be same  of 2WD  or 4WD.....theyre are some guys who have already done it and if you search youll find the posts and threads...…

 

everyone who gets confused its because of their website or instructions.....just call them

 

there has been a few who even argued with actual people who have it on their truck telling them what they got saying it wasn't possible per web or instuctions…..

 

look at the threads that people have actually installed the kit...

 

understand Eibach makes this kit for many brands and with and without oem springs, so results are going to vary and its probably a generic instruction sheet for everyone......I build things for a living and rarely use instructions as they are most likely confusing or wrong.....so to me it totally makes sense but could see for someone not used to dealing with them how it wouldn't...

think there is 2 different series of shocks too......pro truck and pro truck sport or some variation of that.....i could be wrong but just call them tomorrow and ask them......

I sent an email, but their website has a 2wd filter and a 4wd filter, 2.4” front lift is only available for the 2wd model, the rear Pro truck sport shocks in the kit say 1”, by themselves they say 1.5”, the struts w/o springs say 0-2”, the springs by themselves say 1.2”. If you dont believe me just ask me lol. I’ll wait for Eibach’s response. Both kits include springs, I spent a good hour going through their filters for both Chevy and GMC. Could be they mis printed the spring lift for the strut lift on the 4wd. Either Eibach’s website is a cluster or y’all are putting the wrong kits on lol. I’ll let you know what I hear, I’ll try calling but haven’t had luck with other suppliers. I’m going to be disappointed if this kit only does 1.2” I was pretty excited about it

Kit installed! My initial thoughts, the bouncy ride is completely gone. My shop had to call them up to figure out the adjustments, no instructions in the kit or on their web site. Can’t complain though I believe it came out very good.

I think if I go with Eibach I’ll use my stock springs similar to a 5100 set. Get more lift that way to fit a bigger tire. Started looking at fabtechs dirt logic coil overs.... I’m on the edge of going this route or full on 4” lift kit.... just don’t know if I wanna spend that much
