I drive a 2017 chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 4x4 with a 9in lift on 37 nitos

I'm looking to regear I currently have 3.42 looking to get either 4.10 or 4.56. I tow often and drive highway often. I plan on putting in a cold air intank, headers and a tune.

6 speed transmission?

4.10's at a minimum if you want tow a lot. It will help greatly with getting going and for hills.

Drive in M5 for awhile. That would simulate 4.30:1 pretty close in high gear. That is, it would give you a feel for road rpm at speed.

I'm running the same setup on a 2018. I mostly just mall crawl so I'm probably leaving the gears stock.

If I was going to regear I'd go to 4.56. Especially if you plan on towing.

Let's see some pics of the truck.

Not many running a 9" lift w/37's on here.

Ya let's see pictures. I run 35's with Yukon 4.10 gears. Truck tows great and for a 5.3 with 35 inch tires hauls ass. Especially in the winter with the smaller winter tires on. Your running 37's so 4.56's might be better

I switched from the stock 3.42’s to 4.10s in my 2018 5.3 on 33’s. Noticeable difference especially when towing. I wouldn’t go less then 4.56 with the 37’s

I would shoot an email to East Coast Gear Supply. Here is what they sent me to help figure out what gears to go with. This is for a 34 inch tire but he suggested 4.88 since I tow a lot.
