Incorrect gas mileage help

Hi,

  I filled up my tank yesterday, drove home, without putting my foot on the pedal hard, just normal driving.  About 2 miles to get home and the DIC shows 1.6 MPG.  Drove it again this morning for about 5 miles says 2.4 MPG.  Is this a software issue, if not how would I go about fixing this?

Just drive it and don’t worry about it? Those guestimations are usually inaccurate. Distance to empty is what I’d pay attention to.

Use an app like Fuelly if you’re interested in accurate mpg tracking.

Thank you!!  After resetting it again, I drove a longer distance seems to be working now.
