I own a 2014 silverado Lt with a my link 4.2 is that there cheap version? I see all these hidden things on utube can never get nothing to work on my ride. Example rolling windows down with key fob, the 4x4 deal on the information screen next to speedo. Do I need to upgrade something first

Pretty sure you need the upgrade 8.0 version, but take a picture of the setting menu on your radio and post, might be able to help.

I think rolling down the windows was added in 2015 and up. I had the WT Sierra 2015 and after I had factory fobs programmed I was able to roll them down with the fob. It won’t do it on aftermarket fobs.

What is the 4x4 deal? The off-road screen? If so, they were available on the 2014s, but not on every model. After 2015 it was more available.
