Sierra Denali. I don't know what else it would be. some kind of plastic enclosed something-or-other attached to the back side of the pocket with an electrical connector plugged into it. its on the driver's side at least, didn't check the other side.

Does your truck have cross traffic alert? That's the only thing I can think of it that it could be.

No cross traffic alert and no back up sensors.

There is one tiny screw that’s holds the foot plate on to the step. Once you unscrew that from underneath it will slide out. There are 2 more torq screws underneath it to remove before the entire corner piece will come out. That piece is kind of a pain in the ass to get out as there are like 3 clips that don’t want to come out. I just yanked it out. Did some minor damage to the clips but those clips are pointless. It’s already being held in with 8 screws/bolts. The clips are unnecessary.

So to be clear there should be 9 total screws/bolts to get the entire corner/step out. Don’t yank anything until you have all 9 of them out and the foot plate off.

3 T-15 in the top of the foot step,

2 T-15 in the bottom under the step pad, and

1 7 or 8mm holding the step pad from inside the bumper.

The other 3 I suspect your pointing out are the 3 10mm bolts holding the exhaust cutouts on. To release the clips I inserted a flathead screwdriver through the bumper from under the truck. There were small slits to fit the screwdriver through. If go under the tab and then push up. I was on the outside of the truck, pulling the top of the step away slightly so I could view what was going on inside the bumper. I started from the tab closest to the middle of the truck. Once it was out I went to the middle tab, then the tab closest to the side of the truck. It really didn't take much to get this done, and I didn't break a single tab. I'm not a mechanic, only a hobbiest. I went into this blind, not having seen a diagram or schematic to point things out to me. I found it very easy to do. Trying to figure things out, the first side took me about 2 hours. That includes thumbing through my tool box several times looking for tricks or special tools I have to somehow make the job easier. The 2nd side took me less than an hour since I already knew how to do it. I only have hand tools, not the electric ratchet that was mentioned earlier.

I have a black 2020 AT4 carbon pro and I'm looking for some chrome exhaust tips as I find there's just too much black on this vehicle.  Anybody with chrome want to trade?

I have chrome tips on my 2020 Denali (1900miles) its the last piece of chrome on this truck and will be removed within a couple weeks (new exhaust not here yet). I'd sell them.

Thinking about replacing the AT4 badges with the chrome ones as well.

I've got chrome mirror caps, chrome door handles (crew cab set) and chrome recovery hooks also I'm looking to sell if you'd be interested in any of those.

also stock 22" wheels + tires and the stock chrome lug nuts and lock nuts.

I have a set for sale. I just swapped from chrome to black. I am asking $125. That includes shipping cost. They are ready to go now. If you think that's a bit steep, I'll entertain reasonable offers.

I kinda feel that way about my Trail Boss LT with the blackout package. The red tow hooks look odd too. But I am trying to leave this one mostly stock. 40 plus years of modifications on every vehicle i have owned i want to break that bad habit. If i feel the need to modify something i have my Duramax and 2 Corvettes that are already modified. Infact I just ordered a new radio with Android Auto for the Duramax since I like it so much in my new truck. It will be here tomorrow. But I really want to leave this truck alone and just drive it.

I feel very similar. The only changes I'm doing are OE-type changes that my truck didn't have the option for, but wanted. No factory navigation as an option, blackout package only available on black trucks. Power folding tow mirrors not available. There are other things, like memory and cooled seats and that I feel are too expensive and time consuming that I'm not going to bother with.

Have you found power folding tow mirrors that have the lights for side vehicle sensors? You can't even order tow mirrors without giving up half the options i have. I am hoping that the aftermarket will fix that.

I haven't been looking for that type of mirrors. My truck doesn't have blind zone detection because it came with manual folding tow mirrors from the factory.

I don't want to give up the options for tow mirrors. I isn't a good tow rig anyway. I have tried it twice and I think I will just use my old Duramax for that.
