Horn wires in engine bay: where are they?

Recommended Posts

I am going to add a set of horns to my 2015 2500HD.  All I need is a trigger wire for the add on relay.  For the life of me, I cannot find easy access to the horn wires.  I checked the fuse and I think it is running on the hot side to the horn relay.  The horn relay is triggered by grounding the relay which closes the circuit.  All of these wires are wrapped in bundles.

So, has anyone found an easy way to access the horn power wire without taking the headlights out?  I would be forever in your debt.

I thought you can get to the wire from the grill (remove) lower driver side.

I added an air horn and tapped into the stock horns to trigger the solenoid.  Easiest way to get at the wires is to remove the driver's side headlight and you have super easy access.  Otherwise you will drive yourself nuts trying to access from below.
