Wiring up camera

I purchased a wireless license plate camera. Normally it would be connected by the reverse light but I can't get the screws loose to take off my rear light assembly. Where else should I connect it to? If it matters my truck has a 7 way plug.

There is a backup light feed in he 7 way plug. Read the cover and it will tell you which one.

On my 2010 Sierra, the REV wire in the wiring harness for the trailer connector was light green in color.

The ground should also connect to the 7 way plug

Any idea how to splice the wires together? I got pinch splices for the backup light wire but the ground on the 7 pin plug is too thick.

solder them. for your ground use a tek screw into the frame
