LT Trail Boss offroad experience

This weekend went to bundy hill up here in Michigan with a buddy. Was pretty happy that we got his quad and my dirtbike into the bed of the truck. Tight squeeze but still enough room for ramps/ gear. So after riding all day i decided why not take the truck around a little.

This place has quite a few open areas along with super tight trails (for wranglers and stuff). Scoped it out while on the dirtbike and went for it. Let me tell you the looks i got driving around there was hilarious ?. I didnt take it on anything crazy where i knew id get damage but the main roads are muddy/ full of water right now cause it rained. The place is an old quarry. So its a good mix of mud and sand.

I have to say i was absolutely blown away by how well the truck did. I had the offroad screen up for a while and a lot of the tigher close together hills were >10* inclines along with off camber. The main trails i went on were a mix of loose gravel/ sand. I couldn't believe how well it did. I stopped to let people pass or check for cross traffic a few times on the very bottom of an incline of loose gravel/ sand. Itd spin just a little and then crawl right up the hill no issue at all. I couldnt believe it. Even in straight loose sand and somewhat deep it had no issues getting through it. I couldn't believe i never once needed 4x4. I assume if i had gotten crazier and actually found some of the deeper muddy trails i probably would have but this trucks still brand new lol. I aint stupid. Ballsy but not dumb. I never took it down any trail that were tight thatd scratch it or through any water i didnt know depth of (had already sank my dirtbike into a hidden hole on a trail full of water twice that day... i was cautious af with water) and i never took it through anywhere with big ruts thatd bottom me out (i know i have skids but i wasnt gonna get stuck and have some pull me out).

My favorite comment was this old man on a quad hes like wow... thats an awfully pretty truck to be out here. (Think of the voice of mountain man from duck dynasty... long slow country draw).

Im currently runnning stock tire size ironman all country ATs (think slightly less aggressive duratracs) they definitely impressed me.
